Updating the warranty on Trimble Access Software on data collector
Once you paid and updated the warranty of Trimble Access software on your data collector; make sure
to update your data collector software manually as the software is not going to be update automatically
for you. And you might lose some options due to the warranty expiration such as Trimble Access Sync.
How to update your Data collector Trimble Access software:
1. You must download Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) installed on your computer (win 7
and up) or ActiveSync for Windows XP. If you already have WMDC skip to step 2.

2. You must download and install Trimble Installation Manager (TIM) on your computer
Click on this link to download TIM http://www.trimble.com/installationmanager/
3. Once your computer is connected to WMDC and you started TIM and it recognized your Data
collector Serial Number and gathered your installation information make sure to click on install
